I spent a lot of time going through the options for R/C available from Amazon and hobby shops looking for an entry level truck that I could get the kids involved that had basic features, was well built and most importantly had a source for repair parts. Full travel suspension that is heavily adjustable, including real oil filled shocks. It has a good overall feel for the steering and is very responsive to inputs, throttle control can be turned down if you?re just starting out. I definitely have no regrets with this purchase and have suggested it to a few co-workers who will be getting them to race around the office.

This RC car has got me Hooked! It has a ton of power and is really fast. I like to dive it in our hardwood floors because it drifts super awesome. I will include a video to show what I am talking about! The truck also has a remove-able shell so that you can see the motor and frame. The suspension has a lot of travel which makes is really good off-road as well. The suspension is adjustable too so you can switch it up if you are driving on road or off road. The truck seems to be really durable.

Which was perpetually broken. I would have to tune it constantly. With this car being electric I do not have to deal with that at all. Jut put the batteries in and go. The replacement batteries are cheap too making it easy to keep a set of batteries laying around.

This RC truck works great. It is fast and responsive. I was quite surprised at how well it handled and how durable it was. This is definitely a step up from the cheaper RC cars and trucks you typically find. The motor is a powerful brushed motor and the steering is proportional. The remote is very responsive and intuitive to use. I tried adding an FPV camera using the open aux port. Although the port had the right voltage, 5v, it wasn’t enough current to power the camera unfortunately. It did however power another LED. I designed a 3D printed holder for a camera and a 2nd battery. Driving the car using goggles and a camera worked our fantastic using my rig. It really adds to the experience. Too bad the aux port didn’t support this. I successfully jumped over my hot tub with this truck. It is a lot of fun! Oh did I mention durable. It survived the abuse we gave it and it keeps on going!
